Using LayerFive's Ads Performance and Key Metrics

LayerFive is a unified customer data and attribution platform. We help e commerce companies achieve a single source of truth across their entire organization.

In this video, I'm going to help you better understand LayerFive ads performance and key metrics. The set of tables in this section show the performance of the two most widely used media sources, Google ads and Facebook ads. The data is shown as reported by the media sources themselves, as well as what layer five platform reports. The last table shows the aggregated and duplicated performance across both these media sources.

This panel gives you an overview of the key metrics supplied by Google ads. It compares Google Ads data head to head with the data reported by LayerFive so that any discrepancies are immediately obvious.

On this table and others in this row, LayerFive reports conversions and orders with any click attribution. This is the most generous attribution as it gives full credit to Google ads if there was a click from Google ads. Within the attribution window.

You can see revenue generated from Google ads, Google Ads spend, the number of orders, return on ad spend, and cost per order.

As we head into 2023, retailers will need to be even more agile and responsive to the changing landscape to stay competitive and continue driving growth. Accelerate Your Business with Multi-Touch Attribution
By Ash DSouza 30 Dec, 2022
Multi-touch attribution is analyzing and attributing the credit for a sale or conversion to multiple touchpoints in the customer journey rather than just one touchpoint. This can be particularly useful for e-commerce businesses, as it helps marketers understand the effectiveness of different marketing channels and tactics in driving sales.
